Western Red Cedar

Western Red Cedar Cladding has proven for centuries, that it is a building material offering beauty, versatility and durability. Western Red Cedar cladding is valued for its distinctive appearance with a warm reddish brown colour, a tight straight grain and few knots. It blends effortlessly with other façade materials to give a low maintenance, contemporary appearance to many current building projects.

We produce Western Red Cedar Cladding in Vertical Grain (VG) where we cut from larger sections i.e. 4x12, 6x6 so we can select boards that will give a nice straight grain.

Our Mixed Grain Cedar (MG) is taken from similar sections of material but with no emphasis on straight or flat gain material, hence it’s all mixed together.

Our Knotty grade of cedar Sound Tight Knot (STK) is produced from larger sections of 4x6, 4x12 or 6x6 producing some beautiful but economical cedar products.
